Shabbos Nostalgia captures the warmth of a Friday afternoon, when the world begins to slow down. Old Jerusalem stone, a familiar courtyard, fresh challah, glowing candles, and two children sitting side by side. It’s a tribute to the little moments, familiar traditions, and memories that make Shabbos feel like home.
Created in a contemporary mixed-media style, this piece combines soft pastel tones, expressive brushstrokes, digitally-rendered details, and layered textures. Its loose, imperfect marks and collage-inspired composition give the artwork a personal, lived-in quality, evoking the feeling of a cherished memory.
More than a depiction of Shabbos, it celebrates the people, traditions, and simple moments that stay with us long after they pass.
This 24"x32" artwork is printed on canvas and comes unframed.
